G26 Finally Done ----- NIRVANA!!!!!

You know that moment when you pick up your Glock and say WOW!!! I do not need to do another thing to this one. I love it. Well With my G26 I have reached that nirvana. I have been switching out different mods and now I am done.

I like the idea of using the Magpul for a pinky rest as well as a grip point on the magazine.

I've kept my G26 factory stock, but my G17 & G19... now those babies have a few toys & upgrades attached to them.

I prefer the Pearce +1 floorplate over the GAP floorplate, but that is only my own personal preference.

I run the Pearce +0 grip extension on a G30SF for the primary, loaded 10-rnd mag and have a custom-made, rigid speed plate on the spare carry 13-rnd mag (Magpul doesn't make them for the 45/10mm Glock mags). The speed plate does help to grab and pull a mag quickly from a horizontal mag pouch on the belt, especially when wearing gloves.

Gaston design perfection the first time. I use to have the Pierce +1, then the gap floor plates. I shoot mine much better with the stock plates, better concealability too.
My G26 is bone stock, and I like it that way.

Gap floorplates is not meant for the pinky to rest... Its meant to lock the ring finger in so you dont have to adjust your shots... I always hated that my pinky would hang and used pierce extensions... now i dont like the extensions anymore after i used the gap floorplate... strange huh...

the gap and pearce-floorplates are not common/available where i live, all people i know run either the G26 10rd mag with no extension or with the glock OEM +2 extension.

what is the benefit of the pearce +1 / +0 extension over the glock OEM +2 extension?

what is the benefit of the gap +0 extension over the glock standard or glock OEM +2 extension?

i ask because i never saw the gap or pearce extension in reality

Glock 7151 + extensions, night sights and a lot of ammo is all that a G26 needs!

The Gap floor plate is not an extension for additional ammo or added grip length to put fingers on.

It is designed as a "ledge", if you will, that sticks out between your two fingers on the grip and your little finger that is tucked up under the floor plate.

Its purpose is to provide a more secure hand hold, particularly during the act of drawing the pistol from pocket or holster.

I find it to be a GREAT addition to my 26.

It adds a more secure grip without adding any additional length to the grip like a +2 extension would. A +2 extension makes the grip about the same length as a 19. Kinda defeats the purpose of the smaller 26.

Lower overall profile, and texturing that matches my Gen 3 front strap.
