I have the 0350CB. I stopped carrying it because it's spring assisted and I wasn't comfortable with the idea that it may accidentally deploy into my leg, thus my 0560.

I've had both, quickly sold the 0700. The blade shape does nothing for me. I've had three 0350s, all were fantastic, but I settled on the 0350CB. The 0350SW was my second favorite, followed by the plain version. I just don't really like coated blades, especially black ones.

Takes about two minutes to de-assist one.

Might I recommend checking out a ZT 0550. Amazingly tough and smooth blade for EDC. I found mine on eBay NIB for $154. Great knife IMO.

Take a look at the 0560, fantastic flipper, very smooth! If it's on the large side for you, the 0566 will be coming out in a few months. It's assisted, but can be de-assisted easily.

I carry my 0560 in my left SAP pocket and I've had my keys, squad car remote, and misc stuff push on the flipper just right when I sit down to where the blade peeks out in my pants. I decimated one pair of pants pulling it out, and caught it all of the other times... $80 uniform pants ruined, out of pocket to replace, will do that to you. I'm considering the 0550 or ZT0350 w/ spring removed (flipper looks like it protrudes less) or a .... CQC8 :(

I gave a 0700 as a wedding gift and I understand it gets a LOT of use. The owner is a first time knife carrier so while he loves it, he's got nothing to compare it to.

This is true. The 0350 is a great knife but I've never been a fan of recurve blades for anything beyond it's looks.

The 350 is a great knife. I've never had the blade deploy on it's own - not saying it couldn't happen, though. I love ZT products but am not a fan at all of the 700. The 56x is a fantastic knife - ball-bearing flipper; what's not to like. It might be sacrilege to some, but I like the 561 better than XM-24.

The XM is a nice knife, but I'd rather have 3 or 4 560/1 knives for what you pay for the Hinderer. It's probably just me.

I can understand that. I'm the same way. I have a XM-18 and a ZT300 is in my pocket now.

I really need to look at a 561.

My current EDC is a special editon black 0550 and I'm loving it. Also use an 0200 and 0560 as well as a couple of different 0350 models. My favorite is the 0560, buttery smooth and rock solid however, since I got this 0550 the 0560 hasn't been getting much pocket time. Of the ones I've mentioned the 0350 is my least favorite mainly due to the flat, wide scales. Still if it's a ZT you can't hardly go wrong.

I'm one of those rarities who loves his 0350 I guess...I think the knife is an outstanding piece of work, and it has easily become my main knife after searching through kershaw, spyderco and even a cold steel or two...just an awesome knife. The recurve design makes it excellent for slicing IMO and it's yet to lose a razor sharp edge. Not very good at being pokey...I'll give you that, but I'm just a civvie and it's held up well.

I own two 0350 ZTs and about 20 other various ZTs. The 0350 has been my EDC for over 3 years and I love it. I own well over 500 knives (nearly 300 tactical folders), so I have lots of choices for a carry knife and while I may carry a new one for a week or two, I always go back to the 0350.

That's mighty high praise right there. I had a 350 and was mighty impressed with it. Right now my only flipper is a Sypderco Southard (INCREDIBLE knife - see pics) but I'd like another 350 in a none coated plain edge.
