Last time I saw a Promag for a Mini, it failed to feed as soon as you loaded it with more than 17 rounds. If you have some that work flawlessly at full capacity, then you got lucky.

I just got 2 Promag Poly's for $10 a piece from a dealer buddy and they are exact copies of the Gen2 Pmag. I am honestly rooting for the underdog in this and would be surprised if they malfunction. (hopeful). Like I said they basically a trademark violation of Magpul Gen2.

I have had so much bad luck with Promag products, I will never buy another, same with USA mags.

Perhaps fortunately, USA Mags went out of business after the 1994 buying panic.

Just like there have been many copies of Glock magazines.
From the early steel lined Poly mags made by Promag, to the Korean made ones now. They may look like, or be like, but they are not when the shooting starts.

I hope your magazines work for you, but in my experience with off brand cheap ass magazines. They rarely perform the way you want.

With my Korean KCI Glock mags, after I shaved off the excess plastic around the feed lips AND added some graphite lube they work fine...

No.

Mec-gar, Metalform, Checkmate, ACT do though.
If Promag made OE magazines we'd all be hearing about how bad they are.

That was what I did with some of the old Promag Glock magazines. They wouldn't run at all. I modified the from of the magazine because the rounds were always hitting it. I tried Glock followers and springs. I never had any luck.

If the KCI magazines are Korean made Milspec magazines like I have seen them advertised. They would have to he half way decent at least.

I only own one Promag product. It's a Desert Eagle .50AE magazine. It has a plastic baseplate that looks like it's about to blow right off the magazine at anytime when the mag is loaded.

It'll definitely be in the garbage as soon as I get a few more OEM DE mags.

I'm still having zero problems with my 20 round mini 14 promags. They are almost identical visually to the Oem ruger mags.
