I wasn't in the Marines, but in the Army we were indoctrinated to call the M16 a weapon. The nomenclature maybe Rifle, U.S., M16/M16A1/M16A2, but most everybody called it a weapon, as were the machine guns, submachine guns, pistols, bayonets, LAW, etc.

I watched this with my wife and right in the middle she said, you should get one! (I've been wanting one for months, just didn't want to lay down the money). Went and bought one the next day.

God bless america where I can walk into my local gun store and in fifteen minutes find exactly what I want and walk back out with it.

For those that thought the reporter / journalist was biased... I think most of his questions were a matter of playing "Devil's Advocate." Check out the post-production interview of the reporter (and what he says he learned).

Worth watching:

I did not get to see it yet. Did not want to stay up until 2 am to catch it.

Too bad Yeager was in it. I could have named a LOT of other people on YT that would have been better suited.

He was enlightened...

Eta: That should have actually been in the original program.

I agree. Hickock45 would have been a far better representation of the avid firearm enthusiast.

Are there any plans at CNBC to Premiere "Russia's, Communist Bloc Country's, Marxist Dictator's, Terrorist's, Drug Cartel's, Gang Banger's, Etc's Gun: Rise of the AK-47" or would that be too un-PC programing and offend too many good buds of the lib MSM?

It was on last night so I watched the whole thing. It was not as biased as I thought however I really saw no point in putting so much emphasis on the Aurora victim(s) as they did. That doctor whom said the AR-15 was more destructive than a shotgun or handgun was really clueless on that matter.

I now see that the only reason CNBC went with Yeager was because of his Youtube vid where his rampant mouth got his carry permit pulled. The attention whore got what he was after.

You've pretty much summarized my thought after watching it on DVR last night.
I tell you one thing that in my view was a positive even with the anti tones. The scenes of people taking classes and the mention of their reasons why... I was watching with my fiance and neighbor couple whom were prior neutral on the position. After watching that point the questions came out as to what I did in 3 gun and Tac rifle competitions. How my fiance had already taken a few classes, etc.
today i got a text requesting that I meet him at a LGS and help him fondle a couple of AR's he wants one now.

I liked the show. It was a lot more neutral than what I was expecting! I knew those 4% numbers already, however was glad to see that on there!
