Today was very humid. I worked out in front of a fan. I drank plenty water. I did 12 sets of 12 reps of barfmees. I had to sit, rest, and let my nausea pass after the 8,9,10,11,12 sets. After the 12 set it took about 20 minutes for me to feel well enough to visit the pharmacy to pick up my BP meds. Remember: it's better to burn out than fade away.

Today consisted of 5/3/1 squat and press; Martial Blade; and I decided to rotate my GTG workouts with DL, SLDL and GMs, instead of doing all DL... so I did SLDLs today.

Today I lifted for the first time since April 20. I worked up to a behind the neck jerk of 175, a single high bar squat of 235 and 4 single snatches of 95. Pretty lame but I'll be t

What's a "behind the neck jerk"? For so many months off, your single rep squat of 235 is not half bad !!!

Yesterday:

5 sets, 30 reps each, air squats
5 sets, 9 reps each, oar pullups

Today:

6 sets, 25 reps each, air squats
5 sets, 20 reps each, pushups (vary hand position/height each set)
1 set, 10 reps, oar pullups

About 96 degrees on the run. Slightly less hot in the gym. Gallon and a half of water latter Im feeling pretty good.

Worked up to a suat of 245, a behind the neck jerk of 180 and hang snatch+snatch of 95.

Wed (9/11) it was hot/humid.
  • Pushups, 5 sets, 10 reps each, varied hand height/position
  • Air Squat, 5 sets, 10 reps each
  • Oar Row 5 sets, 5 reps each except set 1 was 10 reps
  • Barfmees 5 sets, 10 reps

Thurs was off because it was also hot/humid

Friday (9/13)
  • Air squats 5 sets, 20 reps each
  • Pushups 5 sets, 20 reps each (various hand positions/heights)
  • Oar rows 5 sets, 9 reps each, then a set of 5 reps
  • Air squats 5 sets, 20 reps each
