Here is a cut and paste from thier "about this site" page:
Semper Fidelis - Always Faithful. It's more than a motto. It's a way of life. TogetherWeServed.com is a unique, feature-rich resource helping Marines stay faithful to the Brotherhood of the Corps. This is a place where Marines can re-connect with lost Brothers, share memories and tell their Marine story.
Marines.TogetherWeServed.com was built by a Marine for the benefit of all those who wear the Eagle, Globe and Anchor and claim the title, U.S. Marine. If you served on the beaches of the Pacific in WW2, the jungles of Vietnam, the frozen landscapes of Korea, the deserts of Iraq or are currently defending our freedom from locations in the United States or in other parts of the world, then this site belongs to you.
Membership is exclusive to US Marines and only by invitation of another member of this site. While certain advanced benefits are only available to our Full Members there is absolutely no charge to join as a Free Member.
I don't know who linked this site, or in what thread, but I found out about it here on GlockTalk.
It's a very
useful and very
intuitive site, and I've found about a dozen or so Marines I've lost contact with over the years.
It's free, but for $10 you can upgrade and post photos and see other photos.
The entire site is searchable by a TON of different criteria; name / posting / rank / unit / award / assignment / bilit / you name it, you can search by it. Very intuitive. It has interal email and forums.
I just thought I would pass this fantastic resource on to you guys.
