C-141 Final flight
The C-141 is officially retired. The Starlifter made it's last flight this morning. It flew from Wright-Patterson's main base to area B and landed at 0930 this morning( Sat 6 May)to be delivered to the Air Force Museum. The aircraft was tail number 60177. It was also known as the "Hanoi Taxi". It had the honor of airlifting the first load of POW's out of Viet Nam. It truly is the end of an era.
