What are some good gun shops in central Iowa?

Heres the ones I know of:

Jack Smith - East Des Moines - good guy, decent prices
JLM - Urbandale - SOB, sometimes $100 OVER MSRP
Scheels - West Des Moines
Sportsman Warehouse - Ankeny
Bob's - Marion - good guy, great prices

If you wish to order a gun you can always talk to Mike and the Olofson Range by Polk City. I think you pretty much hit them all without finding FFL dealers. Not too many gun shops. Jacobsons in Story City. Its downtown right off of I35. Decent pistol selection, fair prices.

Don't forget Rick McDowell at Competition Specialties in Osceola.

Rick is a full service gunsmith. He's a non-stocking dealer, but can get pretty much anything and generally beats the local shops prices.....
