Very nice looking G22 you've got there, what kind of sights are you running?

It's currently wearing a see of Ameriglo Hackathorn sights, which I have used exclusively for a few years. However, since this will be my IDPA gun going forward, I want to change the sights. The front sight on the hacks covers too much of the target at distance for me.

I'm looking into a serrated rear like the hacks but with a proper height front F/O sight. Haven't decided yet, but looking into the 10-8's, and the Dawson Sights as well.

Thanks for the compliments, turned out better than I hoped.

22, 23, and 27. Love all three pistols and rotate them for carry.

Having had both the 10-8 and the Dawson fronts I would pick the Dawson. The 10-8 although more protected is more of a PIA to change out the fiber. I also run a set of Hack's on my G35, that orange really reaches out and grabs you. I have the ICE CLAW sights on my G23 and G27 with that yellow lumiglow ring and tritium, although big I can't think of a more visible sight.

Also Dawson really has a lot of choices as far as height and width go, you can really zero that thing perfect. If you go with a 10-8 rear I'd get their plastic front so you can shave it down until you preferred sight picture and zero are obtained and then match a front sight.

After my current slide build going on with LW (sans optic) for IDPA, I am heavily considering my first RMR setup. Just not sure how it's gonna be to transition from shooting a lot of rounds without one (RMR) to shooting with one for classes and range trips, and back and forth……….

Great looking pistols, I have heard nothing but praises about Mark's work, and your pistols look very well thought out for a purpose.

It took a little getting use to using/finding the dot at first. Once I had practiced /shot enough it became a lot faster as did my times transitioning from multiple targets. I shoot all six classes in GSSF and use the G-35 in Unlimited. I solved the problem (for me) as far as going from RMR to irons by using Ameriglo .115 Red fiber optic front with a .140 Black rear on my other competition pistols. Another benefit for my 58 year old eyes is that with irons I have shooting glasses made to clearly focus the front sight at arms length as I normally wear bi-focal's. With the RMR I have no problems acquiring the front sight even with bi-focal's which is nice when I CCW the G-22.
