The comparisons are interesting. My biggest issues are with magazine capacity. You list the magazine capacity as 16+1, but that's not entirely true.
In my humble opinion, the KSG should be listed as 7+7+1 rather than 14+1 because it requires user intervention to switch magazines. The 1216 should be listed as 4+4+4+4+1 because again, you need to manually switch magazines.
Personally, I'd rather have 7-10 rounds in a SINGLE magazine than having 4 rounds in 4 magazines. It would be different if the magazine auto indexed so that it did not require manual intervention to keep shooting. Otherwise, it looks interesting.
That said... my saiga is a toy. My serious shotguns are all pumps.

Well, this is less dishonest than the adverttising campaign for Skyy pistols, but I didn't know Mossbergs were made in Sweden.

SRM, UTS, KSG... I think we're at the dawn of a new age in tactical shotguns. I still like the KSG the best of all of them though, by no means perfect, but weight, compactness and the ability to choose between 2 different types of ammo relatively quickly (Buckshot/Slugs) is very appealing for home defense.

I can't speak for him but I would be interested in how the shotgun shell on the top of the mag looks after a couple of months of the mag spring pushing it against the underside of the closed bolt.
I would not have issues or concerns in general with a semi for home defense but not sure I like the box mag design for a ready to go home defense shotgun. Would it get out of round? How far out of round can it be and still cycle into the chamber? etc....

I see the .pdf has been updated to show Mosssberg is American. The Mossberg 500 show in the picture is 7+1, not 5+1.

Crap me to!
To the OP : Any reason why the chart shows you can not shoot the Mossy both left and right?

I get your point, I guess I'm one of those users who like to verify information myself through various sources, good job though.

A few reasons, I suppose. One is that my saiga has not proven itself to be totally reliable. Aftermarket high capacity mags for mine are completely unusable. They do not feed at all. The factory 4 round mags seem to work fine, but even with these I've had a few issues. The last time I shot my saiga, the "dust shield" broke off. It's a great "fun" gun, but not one I'd trust my life to.
The only pump shotgun I've ever had malfunction on me was an Ithaca 37, which is long gone.

Texas, thanks for pointing that out...you're absolutely right. When I added the MB, I originally used the 9 shot model 50772, but switched it and didn't swap the photos. That's fixed now. Thanks again.

Sure you can shoot with both left or right, but with the 1216, you can switch the controls yourself. Such as the ejection port, safety, charging handle, bolt release, etc, making this a true ambidextrous weapon.
