New here and not sure if this is the appropriate place but here we go.

I have a brand new gen 3 g 26 never fired. It will be a (FUN) gun for me. I have done all kinds of trigger and grip mods but my question revolves aroung the slide. I sent it out to a well known glock shop to have the slide lightened. (Not sure what Ill get. I told them to be creative and do something different.) Now I need to know what others have done as far as changing out the springs and guide rod to compensate for the lighter weight. Im assuming that its trial and error but looking for a good starting point. 1 to 2 lbs lighter on springs?
