Basic red-dot/reflex sight for Kel-Tec Carbine?

Hi all -

I recently acquired a Kel-Tec Sub2000 .40 carbine, and I'd like to add a basic, lower-cost red dot/reflex sight to it.

Any recommendations? The weapon cost $300, and I'd love to come in under $150 for the sight, if possible.

Doesn't need to be rock-solid, I have a full-on Trijicon on my AR. But I'd also like it to basically work, and so so consistently.

What should I be looking at?

I'd go with a Primary Arms version of the T-1/H-1 Micro.

Weird, I was going to suggest both of these. The Strikefire is a great red dot for the price. I have no experience with the PA Micro but it's my next dot choice. Seems to be very solid from everything I've read and it's about half the price of the Strikefire.

Primary arms micro red dot and the keltec rail are great. I have them on my sub2000 and when I fold it up I place the red dot on the bottom of the rail for safe keeping.

How close is zero when you re-mount??

Looks like a multi-gunner - wonder why the suppressor - because he can?!?! hehe.

Both those sights are great recommendations. I use the Vortex SPARC on an AR and it can often be found on sale - the Strikefire is a 4MOA while the SPARC is 2MOA. The 2 color reticles is a nice option though!

Mine holds zero very well. I use the primary arms detachable high mount with it.

Just shot a 10/22 with the Bushnell TRS-25. Nice little small sized sight with a 3 moa dot. Have seen them for $85-90 some with free shipping....

Seemed like a quality product considering the price. I will be purchasing at least one for my 10/22 or MkIII pistol.

Don't know recoil resistance, but Bushnell markets as a tactical red dot, so it should work on AAR's and other such firearms. This is not a 22 cal. only sight!
