Yeah, that sort of irritated me. I'd planned on the G2 anyway, but when I got the gun and the trigger wouldn't reset, I was almost offended. I mean these are $800+ rifles, with arguably the best reputation around... There shouldn't be any trigger issues, especially when so many of their customers are in some sort of role where their rifle is more than just a range toy. And that's what I told them. And yeah, I'm not spending $40 to ship it to them, after I just spent $820 on the thing. I was hoping they would just send me a new trigger.

Either way, barring the easily fixable trigger issue, the rifle has exceeded my expectations. It's my favorite of any of my rifles.

I just bought one of the 1960 Polish milled ak's. Super nice, hardly any recoil and accurate with zero problems. They are getting hard to find. I paid $725 for mine new in the box. Too bad for me that I didn't get it two years ago when they were $580. I did however sell my draco that I personally couldn't hit the broadside of a barn with to fund it. I paid $407 out the door for the draco, shot it 500+ times and sold it for $675. So I suppose in the end I paid about $457 for the Polish milled.

I had the same problem with my 21 I bought new. Arsenal Cs was useless of course so I slapped a G2 in it.

I think the G2 is the best AK trigger group out there, except a full auto one, of course. I use them in all my AK's, but still.. I was a little annoyed that I HAD to change/fix the trigger in it.
