I bought one. CDNN also had them with night sights for $320.00! Mine showed up today. Looked a tiny bit worn but locks up great and has a great looking barrel!
Serial number puts it manufactired in April of 2003

These are great prices. Who/what/where are these trade-ins from? Anyone know?

I just got mine, it's a keeper. A little wear on the rubber grips, but otherwise in great shape. I believe these are from the NYPD

I'd really love to know the real story behind discontinuing the Kahr for off duty and back up. The Kahr K-9 is as solid performer as you can get for that purpose.

The NYPD has a long history of "accidental" discharges, which it likes to blame on the guns instead of the officers. Google "nypd accidental discharge" - 164,000 hits.

The K9 was dropped from the NYPD "approved for carry list" because authorities required a 12# trigger pull that Kahr was unwilling to install in the pistols in use with the department. Their loss is our gain.

If NYPD really wants a "Safe" gun they will need to issue a waterpistol. A safe gun is a gun kept in a safe or it is a gun totally useless for the job it was purchased for. Guns are not safe, they're dangerous. That's why we carry them for protection.

AIM Surplus has some K9s at $399, and they sold out as well.
