I like Smiths and I liked the 586 but I do not think it is particularly collectible and that is essentially what I was doing, cause I wasn't shooting it. So now I have something to shoot and I still have plenty of revolvers to shoot. So I am OK with the trade.

Love the Kimber CDP's. I had the Ultra, but ended up realizing late in the game that I would rather have the higher capacity of a Glock 19 or 23 when carrying. Since the Ultra wasn't getting carried, off to market it went. Still thinking about getting a full-size or a Pro model CDP someday. Enjoy!

I have a Pro CDP, but it's been "slightly" modified. It was a great gun right out of the box though. One of the better models that Kimber builds IMO.
