Magpul Buttstock - flat dark earth.....??.
Can't find one anywhere! I'm looking for a simple MOE flat dark earth stock for my DPMS but everyone is sold out. Magpuls website only offers green... Would even go for a CTR but I can't find any of those either
What gives?

My condolences! I went through that trying to find OD green handguard a month ago. I finally found one. From what I hear magpul is way behind in production.

Excellent, appreciate the links. I guess my searching skills aren't up to par.
Looks like I'll have to go with the CTR

CTR is a much better stock ihmo. I cant stand any wiggle at all, in fact I'm thinking UBR on my newest rifle just because I haven't owned one yet. I have a Sopmod but I don't really understand the hype, its ok but kind of goofy.

The UBR is great but adds a lot of weight compared to the lighter stocks. Depending on your preferences you may or may not like it. I like my rifles to balance as evenly as possible front/back.
My go to stock for some time for my rigs has been the ACS.......

That is true about Magpul. They are way behind in most everything. Took me a couple of months to get six items from a national distributor. Their site said huge selection of Magpul stuff in stock. Guess it was only stuff that I didn't want.

I couldn't be happier with my UBR. The cheek to stock fitment is amazing and always consistant. It is built as solid as a brick ****house and the little added weight was well worth the trade off.

The rifle is a little heavy to begin with. svtpwnz it does look good in fde! To the original poster I wouldn't even consider the MOE anymore after having a few of the CTR's. I own one but it's painted furious mike red (Duracoat) on my wife's gun.

I have one backordered from Brownells since the first week in April. Brownells states problems from the manufacturer, and won't even give projected delivery dates anymore.

No.... what some distributors do is mislead its customers . they do not tell you its not in stock so when you order it, they simply tell you its backordered and hope you won't cancel the order, trying to lock in a sale! I can tell you 3 distributors who do this.

Never mind, you need a commercial one. The mil specs are available.
Edit 2....Convert over to a mil spec buffer tube...

I got my CTR stock from cheaperthandirt, and in FDE, for $65. It wasn't too long ago either. Not sure I would have paid more for what I got, though it is an excellent stock.
