Mine runs flawless on CCI mini mags and CCI stingers..I haven't tried bulk ammo..

This is the gun of my childhood. I have had mine for about 40 years. My dad bought it for me for forty dollars. I have many many memories with that gun and I still have it and cannot see myself ever selling it. Great gun that has dispatched many squirrels.

Wow, the timing of your post. This Saturday I sold my 10/22 and bought another Marlon 60 for that exact reason.

I remember seeing those Marlin 60's at K-Mart, Sears, Western Auto, and J.C. Penny's back in the day. They sold a million of them...well several million actually.

Nice ones pictured here. Congratulations.

I have a Glenfield (Marlin) 60 .22LR as well as a .30-30. The 60 will eat any bullet that says .22LR on the box. Shoots true, as my grandpa would always tell me about his. Both are great guns and I wouldnt ever part with them.

The 60 is currently my truck gun.

Great pick!

My Marlin/Glenfield 60 was having serious mis-feed, mis-fire
issues and was hitting six inches left at 25 yards. Found out
the older ones (mines 1979 vintage) had a poorly designed
feed block and lifting arm. I believe that's what they're called.

Ordered and replaced them and have had no further issues.

All the Best,
D. White
