Nebo Protec 190... just got one in the mail a few days ago. Have it on my g23 right now and so far am very impressed. I haven't shot with it yet, so can't give much of a review but it is bright and has strobe.
Some guys say they don't stay on the gun, but mine feels very solid as far as I can tell, will report back later after I shoot. Can't go wrong for $33.00 shipped. Bought mine from Firemall LLC through Amazon.

I have a protec 190. Impressively bright. A few things they could do to improve longevity but ok overall.

I heard from somewhere around here about the Nebo HP190 being available at Wally World so went over to take a look. Didn't jump on it though it looked OK but checked around the other WW and bought it for less shipped including a six pac of spare batteries. I'm plumb happy with it. Only had it a week on my G23 now. Very bright and the strobe function should save me some bullets.

You will find that the majority of low light class instructors frown on the use of strobe on a weapon mounted light.
It may prove useful for "aggression reduction" on a regular flashlight, but your weapon mounted light serves a different purpose.

Frown?? Sorry don't make decisions on that. Got any relatively credible reasons as to WHY? That would sure be a lot more helpful.

Sure. Your weaponlight is there for critical target identification, its not a flashlight. Because it points where the muzzle points, it's a targeting tool ONLY. The strobe works both ways, with regards to its disorientating effects, especially in close quarters, and even more so with light colored walls close around you. Once you've drawn your weapon, you are in the highest threat level condition; to fire or not to fire is your only decision at that moment. Your view and identification of the target and the threat that it represents to you, should not be compromised by the strobe.
Note that Surefire, for example, doenst offer strobe on their dedicated weapon mounted lights, only on handheld lights.
EDITED TO ADD: it is also very difficult to track and observe movements of multiple threats in a room under strobe lighting conditions. Try it with a flashlight, you'll immediately see what I'm getting at.

Well I'm a member of dvor, some sister co. of optics planet with amazing deals... Anywho I snagged a streamlight tlr-4 for $99 NIB. Love this tiny little thing, perfect compliment to my g19... Doesn't have strobe but I don't really care for it anyway, by the time I'm at the level of pointing my gun/using my light in conjunction I'm either gonna pull the trigger (bad guy), or lower my weapon (good guy)

Looked at the Nebo on Amazon. Especially the customer reviews. Looks as if they're great at first, but many people report they don't hold up long. Waiting to hear from long term users on GT before I buy.

Nebo reviews are good enough for me to try it at the price - got one on eBay for 33.25 shipped. 190 lumens is great at that price point if it is true and well aimed. I'll post up dig or dog.
