CNN has had some pretty balanced, if even slightly right leaning news reports lately.

Audience being what it is, FOX is the only one leaning right. Everyone else is fighting over scraps of the left news media.

Is CNN going to try and steal some of FOX's market share?

Plus, per the story, they obviously would like to see a much more comprehensive and encompassing gun ban legislation than just "assault" rifles and high capacity magazines. Hardly a "right leaning" position.

This ain't brain surgery guys.

For years the plan has been to choose the target (pardon the pun) that will have the least resistance, which in this case is AWB's and hi-cap magazines, simply because there are fewer of them than handguns, and are owned by fewer people.

Should this be accomplished and the killings continue with handguns, it would be much easier to simply argue that handguns should also be banned.

Sort of like "bait and switch", which is exactly what the CNN spot was suggesting.
