Springdale Police in Utah ticket foreigners, destroy citations.
Wasn't quite sure where to post this, but thought it was interesting. Was wandering around work and saw an article on the front page of the newspaper that caught my eye Springdale police Dept. in Southern Utah has been under investigation recently for Officers giving citations to foreigners traveling in the area and demanding they pay the "fine" in cash up-front. Interestingly enough, these Citations were never filed. In fact, the investigation found that the paperwork filing at the Dept. was sloppy at best. The best part was, it wasn't just one or two officers out of this small town dept that has been doing this, but the entire police force!
