I went and did it!

I ordered my Walther PPQ today. It is on back order so I will have to wait a while. The dealer said all five of his distributors are back ordered for most of the guns he has ordered have been that way?

Be sure to post pics when you get it.

I'd like one myself at some point.

May well be my next gun.

If Walther comes out with a PPQ sub-compact?
I won't be posting. I'll be buying - LOL!

My range has been trying to buy one for the rental case. They haven't been able to get one either. At least I'll get a chance to shoot one before making a decision. If it's as good as I'm hearing (and I have no doubt that they are), I will be getting one.

How long is the back order and how much did you have to leave for a deposit.

I noticed this morning that the Walther link through Topglock.com has the PPQ for $547 in stock.

Walther PPQ

I bought one 3 weeks ago. 9mm. I picked it up for $550.00 at McBride's. It shoots like a dream.

Congrats. Nice variation of the 99 series.

I'd be another owner if they ever decided to offer a compact version, but last time I asked about it I was told that Carl Walther has no plans to produce one anytime in the near future.

Enjoy.

I've always like the 99 series guns.

I picked mine up last week! 150 rounds through it and it is a great weapon.

I just purchased three P99 mags to go with it.
