I need to check one, first name Brothel, common spelling...

With a first name of Brothel, it certainly raises a few interesting possibilities of exactly how his mother chose that name.

Some people name their kids where the kids were conceived... Hilton, Marriott, Motel6, Sandy, Rocky, Forrest, John, etc... So why not Brothel?

My guess is that she just liked the sound of the word, but had no idea what it means. I've seen that a bunch.... Especially with stupid people.

I knew a girl or two named Mercedes. Mercedes Nova.

Chevrolet is better than being named Desoto, Mazda, Nissan, or Toyo...

I understand the 57 Chevy had the larger back seat.

When I worked in a Welfare to Work program I had one woman who named one daughter Cleopatra, Queen of the Nile, and one son Mustafa, Black Prince of Ethiopia. She demanded that everyone call them by their full names. She also had kids named Daquan, Romeka, DaLassa, Demarius, and Sean.

Remember reading a story, kid was named Nosmo King based on a sign in the hospital. Wait for it, it'll come to you...

Not sure if it was true or internet legend.

How about the kid named Us Navy because the mom saw the big boat in the harbor?

Working for child welfare now, I see a ton of weird names. I always have to ask how they spell it and even worse, sometimes they don't know. I can almost hear our nation flushing away as I type this.
