Personal tour of Gunsite Academy in Paulden, AZ

About a month ago I contacted Gunsite Academy and let them know I was going to be in the area this week on business and wanted to tour the facility. Little did I know my tour would be conducted by Mr. Buzz Mills, the owner.

When I arrived we sat down in his office and he gave me an overview of Gunsite and we exchanged pics of our "babies", his 2 Cockers and my 2 Maltese, (see my avatar). We then loaded up in his Ford Explorer and I was given a personal tour of the entire Gunsite facility. It was especially interesting to walk the catwalk in the shoot house.

This place is 1st class and I plan on attending classes in the near future.

I've been there twice. I think of it, and often describe it, as Disneyland for Adults. On the other hand, you come out of Gunsite having been trained by some of the absolute best on the planet. They'll make you so fast and so safe and accurate you won't believe it.
