That's a cute little bugger.....do we know if it'll be competitively priced with the KT P3AT and the Ruger LCP? My guess is that it will be more expensive. Any word on a release date? And where did the pictures come from?

Well dang it! I was setting the sights on the Ruger, now I'll just have to hold out and wait and see how both guns hit the street running and which trips up. With a 8lb trigger on the Ruger, I'm praying the P380 has a PM trigger feel to it AND is reliable out of the gate.
It's not that I have no faith in the Ruger coming out, but I like that the Kahr is it's own little clone, and not a clone of another animal all together. I need a true pocket pistol to round out the CCW collection and I have been sucked onto the Kahr wagon with my PM9. I gotta have a MK9 and I guess a P380 as well.
*I'm emailing my dealer now.

They are also showing up on Acusport's ordering system, so it's not a fluke. No word on availability, but I'm betting it will be earlier than December. Based on the wholesale prices I'm seeing, street pricing should be around $550.00.

Great news! Jodi DePorter from Kahr Arms was nice enough to allow us to view the pictures of the soon to be released Kahr 380 that some of us are drooling over. I personally went to the Shot Show in Las Vegas just to see it in person. Unfortunately it was not there on the day I attended. Now, Jodi has forwarded these pictures for our eyes to see. They are compared in size to the Kahr PM9. Enjoy! Jodi-thank you from all of us.
I'm hoping that with the reduced power of the 380 cartridge that there will be a minimum of issues with this gun as opposed to the teething problems the PM9 has had.
Am I the only one who wishes that there was going to be a K380 also?
I'm very interested in the P380 but I really like steel guns....

IMHO I think having a steel model negates the purpose a bit don't you? The idea is light AND compact and steel would add maybe 10oz (maybe less) to the gun. Plus, I think the steel frame guns didn't have the teething issues becuase of the rigid frame not giving with the powerful cartridge. With the .380 round it just wouldn't (shouldn't) be needed.
Now a steel variant for cosmetic purposes makes sense but it's not a real practical move especially with the target pricing.
I must admit, I have a PM9 but want a MK9 somewhere down the line. I'm hooked :bandance:

Do not demand accomplishment from those with no talent.
Earlier in the day I sent Jodi DePorter (jodideporter@kahr.com) an email asking why information about the companies new Kahr .380 and photos weren't posted on the companies website. Below is the answer for the Kahr Club:
We are having professional photos taken right now. We should have photos and press release out sometime next week. I'm trying to get the word out on the gun so we can presell alot of them. You'll see formal announcements coming soon!
