Do it you won't regret it. I have purchased several brands of guns lately and the two purchases that won't leave my safe both have glock stamps on them. The others can come and go but not these two. One is a 27 and the other 19.

The Glock 23 is a well balanced handgun. It would be a good choice in the if I could only own one Glock category.

+1 - just picked up my 23 yesterday. Haven't been able to put it down since I got it home! Can't wait to get out and shoot it.

Right now I have two 23's and will keep at least one for the rest of my life.
The are great as a carry pistol, or a duty pistol.
On duty I carry a Beretta 92SF, but if I had my choice it would be the G23.
Off duty is the G23 hands down, over my other Glocks.
The second 23 stays here at home with the wife, when she leaves here the Glock goes with her.

The Glock 23 was my first Glock, and it's true perfection! It's the best all-around, do everything size Glock out there, and 14rds of .40cal firepower can't be beat. Whats more is that if you want, you can shoot 357 SIG and 9mm out of it, with the right barrels.

I pre-ordered my first one before they were even available. Now many years latter i bought her a sister a few months ago. I wear them for CCW all the time. they are a good size and i like the 40 SW.
I also bought a 35 this year. I like the 23 better.

Go for it!
I have several S&W revolvers, two Sig's a CZ, G34, G23 and a S&W 41. Out of the bunch if I had to choose only one to keep it would be the Glock 23.
Can't beat it for versatility. With the Storm Lake 9mm conversion barrel it gives my G34 a run for its money in the accuracy department as well.

IMHO it's the best combination of firepower VS size there is.

As many before have noted... it's the best combination of potency, capacity, and concealability. 14 rounds of hot forty in a gun the size of a G19.... sweet!

I love my G23. My wife has the G27 and she wants a G23. I have shot thousands of rounds through mine and carry it daily...
You wont go wrong. I like my 13 round mags, Extended mag release and extended slide release. Im a small build and conceal it easily.
