I just PCSd in Feb from my old unit as the helicopter crew chief (H-60s) schoolhouse commander at Ft Eustis,VA.

I got a phone call last night from my MTL Chief, that one of my troops while I was there died in a car wreck just outside the front gate. His name is A1C Kyle Henson. He was a student leader, amazing student, great human being. He was 4 days from graduating and earning his maintenance badge...he also won DG for his class (both AF and Army students).

I'd appreciate it if you'd keep AiC Henson's family and 360 Det 1 family in your prayers.

Don't know what it is about main gates, but while I was at George AFB, we lost a fireman (days before discharge) and the vice commander of the F105 Wild Weasel squadron in accidents at the main gate.
