Hi,
I just recently purchased a Glock 21SF and a 30SF. I shot approximately 150 rounds out of each gun and for every second or third round, the casing ejects straight back either hitting me in the forehead or the glasses. Does anyone else have this problem. I have a Glock 21 and 30 and have noticed that the extractors in the 21SF and the 30SF are at a different angle and actually dent the casing when a round is chambered. If I put an old extractor in the 21SF and 30SF, does anyone know if this will solve the straight back ejection problem. Any advice would be greatly apprectiated. Thanks.

Try using a paper clip in the little hole on the front of the drive.

I think you need to reformat the drive and reinstall the OS.... always works for me.

Try holding the Glock like a gang-banger would ... you know, sideways. The empty brass should miss your head.

actually it would not, unless the op holds the gun with ejection port down.

YOU LIKELY ARE BREAKING YOUR WRISTS. When you let your wrists give to absorb the recoil, instead of your elbows you let the muzzle jump more than normal resulting in the ejection occuring and sending the casing into your face instead of where it should go. Try to lok your wrists and keep the elbows bent

Hmmm... I'd have to disagree with you here. It was from looking at pictures of David Sevigny (one of the top shooters in the world right now) and other Team Glock members where I saw what looks like they have their arms extended pretty much straight out, elbows locked.

I started doing that in the last few weeks... man, I feel like I have TOTAL control of my recoil right now. Whereas previously I had more muzzle flip, now it's like my sights stay dead on target (G17).

+1. Try to maintain locked wrists to avoid this issue. There is nothing wrong with your weapon, it's your hold on it.

I would run a chkdsk and defrag on the barrel.
