Glock Magazine and Conv. Barrel purchase in IL
Is it legal to buy some Glock magazines and barrel without a FOID in IL?
Are the mags and the barrel considered accessories or they are in the same category as a handgun? My point is to have a LW conversion barrel and some mags ready to go, before I get the gun. With the lack of ammo these days, I wanna have all the options available.
Some will say, get the gun first and then all the rest, but I don't wanna wait 2 weeks until I get ammo, or pay $30 a box at the range.

I don't exactly understand what you are asking.
You have the parts, you aquired them somewhere, is it legal to posess firearms parts and no firearms without a FOID?, is this the question?
The answer is yes, but you shouldn't go carting the stuff around in your vehicle unless you wish to invite a complete search if you get pulled over.

Yeah basicly, I'm wating for my FOID, but at the same time I want to order some mags and spare barrel while I wait for my FOID to arive.. I just wanna kill some time while I wait, and get some nice accesories for my future G22

If you are a resident of IL, I believe you need to have your FOID to get ammo. You can get gun parts without the card.

You can buy all the magazines and barrels you want, no firearms, no ammo, or powder or primers without a FOID.
