It's date night tonight.
While I'm very much praying for my friends that are in the path of Irene, our theme tonight is to celebrate that we aren't having a hurricane party tonight. There will be good friends, great music by one of my best friends and her hubby, and singing along with them...good food and great conversation!
We've been there...waiting for the hurricane to pass, and done that. It's no fun! I know that I'm not the only one that's been through it here in the OAF!
God bless those in harm's way tonight. I pray that God's hand will keep them safe.
May it be a time to stay close to family and loved ones, and a time to bond with loved ones! I know it was for our family about 7 years ago this same time!
