Last night was amazing for our youngest daughter, Laura.
As amazing as it was for her, I KNOW that a year from now, it will be EVEN MORE SO!
She loved it when my husband and I dedicated this song to her on Facebook...
She's come so far....yet the moment she was born, we KNEW she could do whatever she wanted to do. She was always so determined.
If you are young parents, to a "stubborn" or determined young child....have faith, God will do her (him) well...with a lot of faith!

I will apologize in advance as I am a little bit sentimental
tonight.
Today, my husband and I got to spend the day together, and we mentioned this song as we watched a little girl playing as she walked around our neighborhood with her parents and her little brother.
THIS is the home that we brought our youngest daughter home from the hospital to. THIS is the house where I have marks in a closet marking her growth and her sisters growth over the years. When we sell this house, we will have to cut that out of the closet and take it with us!
Our office, where I sit now, was once her nursery...her first room, when she was an infant and a little girl. I sit here I remember us painting this room pink, and me stenciling little hearts and bows all around the room just so she'd know my heart would always be tied to her.
How quickly they grow up and don't "need" you anymore. 
We had a few rough years in high school...but she told me last night, she thinks that was because she was bored in school. They didn't challenge her enough. She had made all A's til that point. We should have seen that...she passed all the tests necessary to graduate before she was in the 10th grade. She didn't have to take anymore tests from then on. The school should have been talking to us....but I also NOW, I know what I should have done differently....but hind sight is always 20/20.
She is doing very well, inspite of us. God is good!

Between my inability to stay awake on Friday nights, and no one showing up for Friday nights anymore...and killer last few weeks of school...
Maybe Summer Time will be better. (24 days left of school...June 8 is the LAST DAY.  )

Went to see this in 3D with my hubby...it was okay...but I'm sure there are better 3D's to see!
