What has happened to the old "Early Friday Night Music Thread...."?
I have enjoyed...pretty much...my first two weeks of summer break, because my husband took the first two weeks off and spent them with me. (Though they were "work weeks" around our home, finishing projects we have been trying to finish since the year of Hurricane Charlie, Francis, and Jeanne did SO much destruction to our home. But we can finally sit back and say...."Ahhhh!" it is good!")
He went back to work, very reluctantly, on Thursday. We work so well together, it was fun. We had a few parties at our home before he had to return to work, and everyone loved the results of our "labor of love".
We had a lot of rain...since Sunday because of tropical storm Debby.
I watched a few old movies I DVr'd over the past few months, and I've shed a few tears, once my hubby went back to work. 
One of my favorite from WAY BACK when...

AND then there is NEIL Diamond! 
So many of my friends, also devout NEIL Diamond fans, have never heard of this song. Yet the first time I heard it....about 9 years ago....my heart stopped beating.
Or perhaps it started beating once again.

MAYBE it's time to go back and read the book I downloaded to my kindle a couple of days ago...since I seem to be talking to myself here tonight.
I just went back to the very first post on this thread....I didn't notice the date....
but the song was....
Still....not a bad song.
This was once a pretty awesome thread....

I ALWAYS turn my car radio up when that one comes on!
Edited to add...if you are ever in Central Florida....88 Z.
I don't currently have satelite radio but that is the channel on regular FM radio when you are in our area. It's the best!

Oh, I'm hanging. Threatened retirement many times but I'm better working than not. Mary and I are playing tennis. We're undefeated this year. Guess we'll get bumped to the next level. Grandkids are here right now. Guess I'll get sick again. Life goes on.

PLEASE DO NOT get sick again... AGAIN?? Pm? Grandkids? You know I am jealous....still none here in Florida. Did I ever tell you about how GOOD (LOL) I was in tennis in college? Don't ever ask?
We aren't getting older, are we?

Well, I'm at a loss right now. Dealing with family issues. Never ends. You think when your kids grow up, graduate, some move away, it ends ... right? Wrong.
