value question

i just traded for an nib/unfired g26, it was made in 1996, i am just going to shoot it but before i do i wanted to make sure its not collectable if it is i will just trade it for a used one, its has std. sights, box papers, etc.thanks for any input.

thanks for the reply, i figured it was a shooter, but they are only unfired once so i figured i'd ask, and i do keep all od my original boxes, thanks again.
