I'm from GB, WI, but my buddy is moving to Port Washington for the summer.
Any nice shooting around those parts?

Any suggestions on good ranges around here? I've only been doing Badger Outdoors but it's been ages what with being busy, the cost of ammo and all that. Would like to know of some other suggestions. Thanks guys.

For a SE WI range check out Mcmiller Sport Center near Eagle, WI. They have a web site that lists hours & all.

Shooters is the name of one in Racine, WI. Its on 6 mile road. http://www.shootersonline.com/SiteDefaultPage/ but the website is under construction right now. I'm going to shoot there today. If anyone is ever interested in getting together send me a pm and we can go shoot one day!

Have you ever tried the action pistol shoot they have at the Bristol range? I used my g20 there last year and had alot of fun. I haven't had a chance to do it this year yet. Ive been pretty busy with work.

Milwaukee here as well. I'd be interested in trying McMiller out, as I've heard a lot of good things about it.

Never heard of them but I'll have to check them out.
Anyone know of a "gun club" in the Milwaukee area where I can train with a shotgun? There used to be one downtown on Lake Michigan but I'm nowhere near there and suspect the lefties in Shorewood have closed it down. Anyway, I'm thinking of taking up turkey hunting if work picks up and I can save the scrilla for a decent shotgun. Just need a place to get some practice in.

I grew up in Milwaukee. I live in Lake Co. IL now. I shoot at McMillers and Bristol on occasion. Never been to Shooters but would like more info as their website is down.
I would attend a group shoot as well.

Shooters is a small range with I belive 10 lanes and two or three for arrows. Also at shooters it is mainly filled with police officers since they work real close with the police departments! I think it's an awesome little place to go shoot that is inexpensive and close to home for me.
They have a few weapons that you can rent just like most other places. Everyone in the building seems to have a good attitude and I enjoy spending some of my money there.
I heard there is a nice place in Waukegan, Ill to shoot. I would like to go there but I have no idea where it's at and I have no one that really llikes to go shooting with me.
I would like to get something together where we could maybe get some people together so we can have a good time at the range.
Hope to get some range time at a few different places close to the Ill/WI border. Let me know whats there I would enjoy seeing some new faces and ranges!

I believe that place you are thinking about in Waukegan is called Outdoorsman. I dont like it. Its cold in the winter, poor ventilation and dim lights. Not to mention I never felt safe there. I will take an extra 15mins and drive to shooters. Im pretty sure shooters is owned by a racine sheriff. I have seen Bass Pro's range in Gurnee Mills and it looks really nice. I've always wanted to shoot there. Do you shoot IDPA or anything at shooters? I think im gonna join.
