Mine's been great. I put the recommended 200 rounds through it and it didn't miss a beet.

G26 or Kel-Tec P11.

Edited to add: Since posting the above, I purchased a Kahr PM9. Thus far, I'm still getting to know the gun and am not yet convinced I can count on it like I can the G26 or P11.

Edited to add: The PM9 is now 100% reliable. Just needed some rounds down range to loosen things up. Great gun.

Sub compacts and pocket pistols are two different things.

+ 1 for Walther PPS, an excellent firearm, extremely accurate and very pleasant to carry.

G26, I had a P11 it was a nice little pistol, rather have the G26..... you are talking holster carry right? I don't think any of the above-listed guns serve for pocket carry.

Mine is great for real pocket carry. It is about as big as you can go without looking like Charlie Sheen overdosing on Viagra in Scary Movie 4.

Have you tried the Ruger lc9? It's a little bit bigger than the lcp, but it's 9mm. I want one, but every time I get to the range or the gun store, they've sold out of them. Kimber has one, called the Solo, which is very nice, also.

I often pocket carry my G26. Like today for instance.

Taurus PT 709, is a great littel 9. 7+1 of a good load and it slips right in a DeSantis Nemsis.

The 9mm PPS is extremely durable and can be shot as a normal range gun. Can't say that about the vast majority of small thin CCW's.

I know your wanting something smaller but your also wanting it to function 100% as well..
Look hard at the Glock 26 as it's my favorite sub compact 9mm Auto Loader..
For the Money the Glock is gonna be very hard to beat..
If your really wanting a small pocket gun look to an Airweight S&W J Frame in 38spl.
