I mailed my CCW Permit application on 5 July..... Received permit yesterday (yeahhh!!!)

Wow way to go! In Michigan, which is where I got my first one when they change the law to shall issue, it took months. 3-4 in some cases. Great be out here in AZ!!

i mailed mine in on May 26th. i still dont have it!!
i called and they said that i didnt pass the quick computer check for background. which is BS since i have an AZDPS fingerprint card for teaching.
it took them 24 days to open my envelope and put my info in the computer.
im upset.

That's Crazy Fast!
Nevada USED to hand it to you long ago in the 'way back'... now they have to mail it in about 6 weeks.
We will see how my 'conversion' goes here after a while. Still not sure I will be 'reassigned' here for much longer.

When we gonna go shooting man? Im always down at the marksmen range or theres a god place to shoot at down at the end of wilmot past the prisons lool. Im looking for people around tucson to go shoot with

im shooting tomorrow (saturday the 25th) up in the NW of tucson at Pimapistol.

its $10 for range fees.
i will be there at 830 or so AM and watch a little steel match and then try out my G19 that i just picked up. I will probably have a couple buddies with me too.
see you there if you want to go.
as for the ccw.
im less than happy about waiting so long for mine still.

got my CCW today.
60 days or so.
shot my G19 for the first time. i like it.

We go to Wentworth & Sahuarita Rd.... few good spots out there....

Wow.
I got mine in 4 working days.
Took the CCW class on a Thursday, mailed it Friday and received my permit Wednesday.

I sent in my CCW packet July 31 and got it back Aug 7. 7 days including weekend! and my ccw instructor said to expect a 90 day delay....

I also live in Michigan (macomb county) and when I turned my app in they told me it was a 5 month wait. WTF! I had heard it was a 3 month wait. I had my paperwork filled out for about a year and just never turned it in until now. I plan on moving to AZ (Gilbert) by the end of the figured I better get this done or I wasted my money on the class. To my surprise i got my letter to go in front of the gun board in about 30 days after submitting it.
