I have been asked to provide recommendations for introductory handgun classes in the Charlottesville area. The class would preferably teach the basics of handgun safety and marksmanship, but doesn't need to get into concealed carry and related issues. Any recommendations for facilities and/or instructors would be appreciated.

The Albermarle County Sheriff's Office has personnel who are providing the NRA FIRST Steps pistol classes.
