What extractor to use for G21 with 10mm KKM conversion barrel?
I tried G20 extractor and it doesn't work.
G21 extractor doesn't work well either.
The extractor hole on G20's slide is 1mm deeper than on G21's.
Should I modify G20 extractor so it doesn't stick out of the slide and goes further in?

That is one of the main reasons I ended up selling my Oberland Arms longslide upper. Neither the .45 or 10mm extractor worked well enough to GUARANTEE positive extraction which created problems with chambering and ejection, too, due to the lack of proper tension on the cartridge. I never tried modding it, myself. That, however, was back before Lone Wolf's TRUE 10mm longslide uppers were available.

You want to use the G21 LCI extractor.
However, as nickE10mm pointed out, you will most likely not achieve 100% reliability with the 10mm conversion barrel for a G21 long slide.
Once I return from overseas, I will be ordering one of the new G20L slides from LWD and having my 10mm G21 barrel fitted down to it. Then, I'll just get a new Bar-Sto or KKM 45 ACP barrel for my Oberland Arms slide.
Does anyone have a spare Gen3 G21/20 frame that they want to sell me?

Try Glockmeister, LOL. Just kidding.....
Man Clarkbar, you've been overseas for a WHILE now. Hope you get back safely, sir!
Also, have you checked to ensure that your 10-45 barrel is EXACTLY the same dimensions as a 10mm barrel (aside, of course, from the hood width)? You might just be better off getting a 6" 10mm barrel and being done with it.....

I should have gotten two or three while the getting was good!! I was able to get a G20 frame w/ 3.5# connector from a GT member a few years back, which is where my Oberland Arms slide lives these days. I'd like to get one or two more (so that I can have a complete G21L, as well as a G20L and G20T).

Actually, I've just arrived back overseas! I returned to the US just before Christmas 2007 (and got to play with my 10mm's for awhile), and I just got back to Europe in July of this year. I am awaiting the arrival of my Beretta and Ruger Mark II, but that's all I'll have with me over here.

No, but I talked to some smiths, and they said it shouldn't be a problem. I expect that, given the interchangeability of the frames, that it should work.

My G21 came with the LCI extractor and although in did not jam it did chew up the 10mm brass every third or fourth round and it ejected to the left once in a while. It just doesn't get good grip on the 10 mm brass - it is too small for it.
The G20's dremmeled extractor works OK so far.

What did you do to dremel it?
I've been toying with my 21 conversion for about a year now... it seems every other time I shoot it gives me a different result.
I had a bunch of torn up brass when I shot on the 1st, most of it being off of a rest, but when I was free-handing it a few days ago I only had one piece that got roughed up.
I have always used the 21LCI extractor, but I ordered a 10mm extractor just to see what the differences were.

I'd also be interested in knowing what you dremmeled as it was our earlier opinion that the extractor really needed a complete redesign to function 100% in the conversions.

I put 80 more rounds of 10mm and 30 or so .45 rounds through it and it only choked once during the 10mm, but I think it was a dirty chamber, as it ejected the spent round just fine.
Once I put the boresnake through it a couple of times it ran fine.
Still waiting on the 10mm extractor.
