Here we go again...

Well, it looks like I'm going to be losing my job in the next few weeks. As of right now I don't have anything lined up to replace it either. Economy is still tough and sales are down, so the new guy goes first.

Anyone hiring in the Roanoke/Lynchburg, Virginia area?

I've been in sales and marketing for about 4 years now.

I can learn/do anything.

Sears usually starts hiring full time temporary seasonal employees around October 15th. I'm sure Best Buy, Gander Mtn, UPS and Target do the same.

Yeah, I was trying to stay away from retail... Previously I've had professional career positions, but it looks like retail may be it for now. I have applied all over the place...

Well, I got good news today. I will have my job for at least 60 more days. Hopefully we'll see some numbers start climbing and we'll be able to keep on trucking.
