Florida Non-Resident CC Licenses Okay again, Great
As reported on a local firearms forum, Louisiana is no longer recognizing Florida's non-resident CC licenses. Resident licenses are not affected, just those held by non Florida residents.
This is a real bother for scores of CC license holders who opted to get Fl. licenses because they covered more states, were issued for longer periods and you didn't have to re-qualify when renewing, to name a few reasons.
No grace period, no grand-fathering, nothing............
I wrote to all my state representatives to notify them of the change and my displeasure. If this affects you or you are concerned about this issue, please write to our representatives now.
