Passed the Diamondback CCW training yesterday. Decent instruction considering the class is geared to the first time gun owner...
I did manage to stay awake and not snore... (grin) The class attendees were rather bright compared to what I typically encounter in a training class at this level. They shot well to for the most part. No safety violations at the range either.
Talked to a couple folks about coming to the GSSF match next weekend at 3 Points... They were talking about hijacking a buddy who is a Glock owner and bringing him along with the doner Glock so that they can compete... I mentioned that the Glock guy can have his pistol checked out for free, and they were pretty stoked!
I did pick up a Volunteer Range Officer packet for the Southeast Regional Shooting facility. I like the facility, and there is talk of a 'Game' facility in the area... sure would like to assist in getting THAT off the ground!!!
Anyway... that's my story and I am sticking to it!
Oh Yah - I did pass. Can't believe you don't have to shoot when you renew your permit! No wonder NV dropped us... (grin)
I didn't know you didn't have to shoot to renew a license, I can understand why another state wouldn't want reciprocity in that case. Where is Diamondback anyway.

Got my CCW thru Russel Long down here in Green Valley. At least we did not have to drive too far. Five year re-new will be coming up soon. Better look into that.
