Finally made it to Frontsight...follow the fun.

I posted a couple months ago that I would be going to Frontsight in October. While I'm here. Just got back to the room after a 12+ hour day 1. It is so great. Lots of good information, and drills. It is amazing how much stuff I have been doing wrong. Follow the fun this weekend at: www.digitalmikepatterson.wordpress.com

I know this is posting late, so if someone could bump if for me in the morning, so the morning crowd can see it, I would appreciate it.

They'll break the class up into smaller classes for the range.... probably 30 - 40 per range. There are some there for disciplines other than defensive handgun.

Yep. People here for Shotgun and Rifle also. Then a CCW course today. Very windy today, and colder...

NICE. A week ago I took a "handgun skill builder" at FS and it was a really good time. The weather was great too. Long days...but soooo worth it.

I was on 8 for the 4 day course, and then 1a I think it was for the 5th day CCW class. That day was quite cool and windy, but it was good to shoot in less than perfect conditions. The instructors were top notch in all respects.....

There are 3 in Parhump. I stayed at the best western. It was good and my room was something like $69 a night. They offer discounts for front sight members so let them know you are taking a class there. It was clean, and comfirtable. They also have a RV place you can camp at. The classes are long, so if you plan on doing the nightlife thing, give yourself an extra day or so, or you will be beat in the morning if you stay up late.

There's a "cat house" in Pahrump? Do tell since I'll be attending a course at Front Sight before too long. Hey, a single guy has to have some "fun" sometime.
