ACTS is the American Confederation of Tactical Shooters. It looks sort of like IDPA style competitions but shooters use battle rifles and transition to pistols during most stages. You can check out their website here: www.actshooters.com/
I did not make it to the GSSF match. I shot a few IDPA style matches in Utah but have not been to any matches since moving to Tucson.
Okay, I am with you in many respects. I was born here and just returned after 26 years in Nevada - Loved the 4 seasons and the water till I got arthritis! (grin)
Been competition shooting since 1999 - all kinds of disciplines.
Currently living in the Broadway and Houghton area, so now you understand my interest in the Reddington area.
You may want to check out Three Points range out on Ajo if you haven't. There are USPSA matches 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month. Let me know if you need more detail on that.
I may just have to get out to Pima Pistol and check them out one day. The ACTS sounds interesting. It may be what I am looking for, and only one way to tell... ( grin)
Thanks for the info!
