I'd wait a while. Got one of the first out and had nothing but light strikes and FTE's. Shop fixed light strkes, but not FTE's'. Lost confidence as a primary carry so did not bother to send back to Taurus for repair as dealer offered me a G26 even up.

I say wait because the ergonomics of the pistol are excellent. Slim, light and easy to carry. Felt good in the hand and fired accurately and smoothly when it did work. I am going to wait until next summer and try again.

been at the gunshow yesterday. went immediately to trust trade and immediately fondled with PT709. compared to PT111, the grips of the PT709 was remarkably slimmer. the grips were too thin they were almost similar with keltec.my hands were simply too big for the grips of the PT709.the slide is somewhat slimmer than the PT111. There is no space for my pinkie finger to hold on to.

until now, i'm still undecided to let go of my SW640 because i do like the grip of my revo (i'm quite comfortable and it does not batter my hand) and i'm somewhat proficient with my revo. i've went to twin pines and asked how much is their sw revo and i'm quite amazed how expensive their revos are. The only way to buy that taurus is to sell my sw640.

Well, still have until tomorrow to decide :-)

I say step back and take a breather - gun ban is just around the corner. If you are happy with the revo then what is half a year or a year. Besides, I'm sure they are going to improve the design/fix the bugs without us knowing it.

i saw the new guns of taurus. i dont like. polymer frame but hammer fired. magaan na mataas pa bore axis. not a good combination. dapat kung polymer frame striker fired para ma offset ng mababa na bore axis ang light weight.

ang oss pwede. kaso lang di pwede sa prod.

I was there too yesterday (arrived here on such short notice). I was more interested with the Armscors, CZs, and Firestorm.

Yes sir, I decided no to get the unit for the time being. I'll just wait for someone who has one and try it first before finally deciding whether to get or not.
