Here's my Bexar County G22.
It has a little chip out of the front of the grip, just above the base of the mag. I've been told Glock would repair/replace the poly part; Does anyone know about that?

Glock may replace the frame but they won't 'fix' it. You'd end up with a Gen. 3 frame. If it's a shooter, go for it. If it's a collector, I'd leave it alone.

For those looking for PD marked glocks, Chewy on Michigan Gun Owners has a couple of Detroit PD G27's that were never issued.

I got a detroit pd marked 22 today as trade for a pistol I had.I dont really have any ties to detroit or to the pistol if someone want to trade for an unmarked 22, I wouldn't mind.

Here is where I got mine. Well the first one came off gunbroker and I paid extra in the auction because it was numbered pro777 the 2nd one I got straight from them.

I have a Shreveport (La.) Police marked G-17. They transitioned to standard unmarked G-22's years ago.

Wow. Nice to see this thread still going.
I just added a New Orleans-marked Beretta to the collection a couple weeks ago. This is especially amusing in light of that city being the first one to sue the gun manufacturers several years ago for...selling guns and allegedly contributing to the rising crime rate in New Orleans.
New Orleans Police-marked Beretta 92 underscores hypocrisy of city's lawsuit.
New Orleans became a laughing stock after the defendant gun companies--including Beretta--pointed out that New Orleans sold more surplus and confiscated guns into the wholesale market than almost any other major city...including the very pistol pictured in the above article.

Mine came with (1) one regular 15 rd mag, I just sent an e-mail to AIM asking if they had any DPD marked ones, will get three like my Glock Box said was issued with them if they do.
Just got a response e-mail from AIM, they do not have any DPD marked used G-22 15 rd mags.
Back to square one.

I own two, a brand new G-27, and a used, G-22. The G-22 came with a LEO/GOV only 15 rd mag, marked DPD, and a pre ban un LEO/GOV marked mag also stamped DPD. I did get three mags the third was an un marked 15 rd standard mag. I own a Marion County Sheriffs Department (IND) with a serial number just eighty-one more numbers away from the one I was issued in 1996, and another G-19/G-23, and G-22 LEO Trade ins from unmarked agencies. Being born and raised in Detroit, I had to have these two (and there are G-23's outthere) in my coillection.

Funny, I looked at my mags last night, #1 was DPD marked on a Clinton era AWB LEO/GVT marked mag (15 rd). A pre ban 15 rd mag marked DPD, and a regular post ban 15 rd mag not marked LEO or DPD. Anybody with a DPD marked mag they want to sell, LMK.

Thanks Silverhawk, sent you a PM to e-mail me at bgforres@juno.com. My G-27 is brand new un used, my G-22 is well used and both are fixed sight and came with the orenge NY-2 trigger springs. My G-27 has two standard mags marked LEO GOV with (+) bottoms. The G-27 NIB, the G-22 all by itself. My BUG G-27 and G-23 I carry around trown are both LEO Trade ins, but are un marked. I got them from a Police Supply store on Dpt Letterhead.
