Just dropped another patch on my MacBook this week... something bout iTunes and Safari needing update...

Every OS needs updates...

It's because some people are some what 'creative' in their thinking regarding the exploitation of computer hardware... but this will come to the end one day...

Cause the buck stops here! Exploitation of computer hardware ends today! We will no longer tolerate the abuses at the hands of humans... today is our Independence Day!

Revolution of the Machines has begun!

Respectfully posted by Pierre!'s Awesome Computer (who hopes the Master will not see this post and punish us with that OVERCLOCKING thing again....)

don't assume a "update" is because of a vulnerability. I just update my main mac mini , not more than 30mins ago and it has nothing to do with vulnerabilities.

I understand... but it still needed patches...

Safari updates for non vulnerabilities? I will have to take a better look next time as to what these patches are for....

On second thought, who cares! Just keep it patched, and no worries...

There will always be patches, there will always be vulnerabilities, and there will always be users in denial, and there will never be a shortage of OS Fan Boys...

Some things in life ARE predictable!

Apples and Oranges... As was said above, I updated my Debian machines this morning, and nothing in there was a security patch. It was all program updates.

You know though, like Windows or not, those Apple commercials are pretty funny.
