P225....new or used?

Anyone pony up for a new W German P225 for $799? Was interested in maybe getting one, but wasn't sure if getting new....or buying a used P225 or P6 for $300-400 and having CCR refinish. Your thoughts? Thanks.

I didn't know they were making new ones now. Do they have the newer style SIG grips?

I bought one for my wife, but I am STILL waiting for my handgun permits to take possession of it and my Glock 34. I will let you know how it is after I shoot it.

They sure look nice. I'd rather have a new one than buy and refinish.

Summit also has them.

The OP was talking about buying a P6 and refinishing versus buying a new one. That's why I responded the way I did. Given the two options, I'd buy new for sure.

I've never seen a P6 that didn't need some love, but your might be nice.

Decided on just getting a new P228R for the same money. Got a chance to hold one last week and man was that thing balanced. Fit great in my hand. Would rather have a few extra rounds anyway. Picking it up Saturday. Thanks for the input guys.
