Kobra Carry range trip,........
So, I got the Kobra to the range today.
Shot a total of 75 rounds,......did not have a great deal of time.
Fired 25 rounds of 230gr Remington JHP, no feed issues, big flash.
Fired 50 rounds of 230gr Fiocchi FMJ, no issues, little to no flash.
I used a slew of mags, one 7 round Metalform, one 8 round Colt,
three seven round Ed Brown, three Wilson Combat 47d, and three
Ed Brown "Eight Pack" mags. All performed flawlessly, all locked slide
after last round fired.
Trigger was nice, around about 4 pounds or slightly less, I have no trigger scale.
The Kobra Carry was dead on sight wise, no issues with feeding or ejecting.
Typical performance, as I expected from an Ed Brown, flawless!
I was a bit off today at distances over 10 yards. Shot "thumb over safety"
I've been working on this type of grip, it seems to help me out a lot.
Below is a pic of a seven round grouping fired with the Fiocchi ammo.
Distance was 10 yards, about one sec between shots. Standard unsupported
grip, thumb over safety.

Awesome!
Glad to hear. I also find the Kobra Carry to be extremely accurate. I think its my most accurate commander.

Officer's Match: I just love that gun. I usually hate front side serrations but those snakeskin ones are so different I really like them. Plus those slim grips are great looking. Are those esmereldas? What you got there is the perfect carry 1911 .

Me too. Other than this one, I've never liked them.

... internet back on. Oh, sweet! No ambi-safety. I don't need to get one. And don't even think about telling me I can get one for 50 bucks, cause that will just ruin my whole mindset right now.

Brown's don't come with an ambi, unless you order it with one, or if the gun is on the shop shelf with one.
Brown single sided safeties are about $30

Plan on replacing the ambi-safety when I send it in for a bead blast.
That may be another year or two.
