Insight WX150 Not on Manufacturer Website? = Procyon?
I've been investigating tac-lights and see where the Insight WX-150 is supposed to be brighter than the Insight Procyon.
I had left this light out of my search however, as I didn't initially see it on the manufacturer website (both http://www.insighttechnology.com/ and http://www.insighttechgear.com) .
However on Insight's online store... http://www.insighttechgear.com/ it is listed... but the Procyon is not listed.
Any ideas? Has the WX150 been discontinued?
Is the WX150 indeed better? Are they the same?
****UPDATE - nevermind... found them both listed in the Insight catalog here http://www.insighttechgear.com/2009catalog.pdf

It's always a nice touch, providing the links--thanks!
It would have been awesome to take what you've learned and posted:
Procyon Vs WX150
Here's what I've learned...
Then list the features of both...
Put resource links at the bottom...
But thanks!

I just got the Insight WX150 about 2 weeks ago and I love it. Great tac light. Operates in 3 modes: momentary, constant, and strobe. 150 lumens of blinding light. I highly recommend it.
Oh, and to my understanding the WX150 is basically the next generation of the Procyon.

The catalog link ( http://www.insighttechgear.com/2009catalog.pdf ) has the specs of the two lights listed right next to each other on page 8.
The only two differences I see are 1. the lumens output (150 for the wx150, 125 for the procyon) and 2. the run time (125 minutes for the wx150, 90 minutes for the procyon). The weight and dimensions are listed as being the same.
I do NOT know for sure but would speculate that maybe the wx150 uses the new Cree LED whereas the procyon does not? Anyone else know?
****** has cheapest price on the Wx150 I have seen. $139 plus 10% off with coupon code stimulus.
I believe the streamlight tlr-1 c4 (cree led) is rated at 135 lumens, 2.5 hour runtime, 4.18 oz. (the wx150 and procyon are 4.0 oz. as listed in the catalog.)
