How many of the First Gens 17L's had ported barrels?

Did all of the first run have them or was it different batches?

I can't say for sure, but I believe they had some of each in the early guns, I remember Don Bulver saying that the first one's didn't have ports, then some did, but then they stopped porting them as the porting style was not effective.

I know the first G24's were not divided into separate models, at least not as stamped on the slides. My G24 is stamped "G24", but the box label says "G24P".
