Springfield in .45gap 3" barrel...
Springfield .45gap 3" barrel?
Big caliber and very small in size.
I like the gap.
More companies need to make them.
.45acp is old and for new people without an acp gun I
recomend the gap.
What say you?

I do not see the point of a GAP 1911. I mean come on, seriously
At least in a Glock it serves a purpose albeit a trivial one.

the reason why GLOCK came up with GAP is because their 45ACP frames are too bulky for some people. 1911 platform doesnt need a diet

Shorter overall cartridge length may improve reliability.
Baby 1911's can be finicky feeders.

I believe Para made a micro 45GAP at one point as well.

I liked the way my G37 shot, but I wanted a real 1911 in ACP. So, buying GAP and ACP ammo got old quick, buying 9, .223, and 12-gauge too... So, traded GAP for a G21 and still 'kind of' miss the GAP. Plus, I really like Black Hills and they don't make GAP... May end up getting a G39 for deep carry since my G19 is a little too big and would love a bigger bullet for daily concealed carry. GAP really hasn't caught on, but with police adopting it, it will be with us for a little bit. Still see lots of GAP at the store compared to ACP. Good thing I reload and shop online! I still have 340rds of GAP I never used... How dare I! Almost pulled the bullets to reload with, but I'm saving the GAP ammo for a rainy day... Nearly left the boxes at my range and put a sign that read, "Free to good home". Maybe trade for some other ammo or mags? Poor GAP...
